SEO Pro Max - Docked SEO Extension Privacy Policy
SEO Pro Max (“the Extension”) is a Chrome-compatible browser extension that provides on-page SEO analysis through a docked browser side panel.
Information We Collect
The Extension analyzes publicly available webpage information such as page titles, meta tags, headings, links, images, schema markup, and other on-page SEO elements in order to display SEO insights to the user.
The Extension does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, payment information, or other personally identifiable information.
How the Information Is Used
Webpage information is processed locally in the user’s browser to generate SEO analysis results and display them in the extension interface.
To show the HTTP status and redirect chain (for example 308 then 200), the Extension records the redirect hops of top-level page loads in each tab. These hops are kept only in temporary session memory and are removed when the tab or browser is closed.
To show JavaScript console errors for the page being inspected, the Extension runs a small script on web pages that records up to 100 uncaught error messages and failed resource loads inside that page. It does not change the page’s console. The list stays in the page, is read only when you open the Extension, and is never transmitted.
Data Storage
The Extension may store user preferences locally in the browser, including theme settings, panel state, window position, size, and other configuration preferences. This information remains on the user’s device.
The latest analysis result for the current tab is kept in temporary session storage so the panel can reopen quickly. Session storage is cleared when the browser is closed.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
Remote Services
The current version of the Extension does not transmit webpage content to our servers for analysis.
Limited network requests are made from the user’s browser only to the website being inspected: to read HTTP status codes, image file sizes, robots.txt, sitemap, and the raw HTML of the page (used by the HTML vs JS comparison). These requests are sent without cookies and do not send any data to LasMind.
The Extension does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or remote code.
Security
We use standard browser extension security practices and request only the permissions necessary for the Extension to function.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
