LasMind

Design That Ships. Not Design That Sits in a Figma File.

LasMind designs fast, validates early, and delivers design systems your developers can actually build against - backed by real user testing, not opinions.

The agency trap

Agencies win design work by cutting effort.

Recycled templates. One round of wireframes. No usability testing. A handoff that leaves developers guessing. The deck looks finished; the product is not.

LasMind for UI/UX

We design fast. We validate early. We hand over systems you can ship.

Your users, your business model, your data - not a theme with your logo dropped in.

  1. No template recycling

Your product gets design decisions based on your users, your business model, and your data - not a theme with your logo dropped in.

  2. No untested assumptions

We validate with real users before development, not after launch.

  3. No design-developer gap

Design systems, component libraries, and documented specs mean what we design is what gets built.

  4. No time-wasting cycles

We don't stretch design phases to bill more hours. We design fast, validate, and move on.

  5. No handoff abandonment

You get documentation, design system files, and support through development and launch.

Process over guesswork

Six locked steps. No room for shortcuts.

We don't “just design.” We run a fixed path from research to handoff so mistakes die before code starts.

UX Research & Strategy

Good design starts with understanding, not aesthetics. We do the research that prevents expensive redesigns later.

Research scope is matched to the size of the decision. A landing page doesn't need a six-week research programme. A complex enterprise platform does.

UI Design

Interfaces that are clear, consistent, and built to be implemented - not just presented.

We design in Figma, with proper component structure, variants, and auto-layout so your developers can build efficiently and your team can maintain the system without us.

UX Design & Prototyping

The thinking layer - how the product actually works, not just how it looks.

Structure before polish. Flows before pixels. Clarity before decoration.

Design Systems & Component Libraries

The single biggest lever for development speed and long-term consistency.

A good design system means your developers stop rebuilding the same button five different ways, and your product stops looking like five different products.

Usability Testing & Validation

Opinions are cheap. Testing is what tells you whether the design actually works.

We test early and often, because a problem caught in a prototype costs a fraction of a problem caught after launch.

Design for Web, Mobile & SaaS

The same craft, tailored to the surface your users actually open.

  • Website Design - Corporate and marketing sites, landing pages, e-commerce, editorial, conversion-focused pages
  • Mobile App Design - iOS and Android native patterns, cross-platform (Flutter, React Native), PWAs, store assets
  • SaaS & Enterprise - Multi-tenant interfaces, admin panels, role-based dashboards, data visualisation, self-serve billing

We design for the product you are shipping, not a generic portfolio piece.

  • Opinions are cheap.

Testing is what tells you whether the design actually works.

  • What we design is what gets built.

Documented, tokenised, and handed over with support.

Working with you

Changes, revisions, and what you already have.

You don't need a finished brief

Most clients come with a product idea, an existing product that isn't working, or a business goal. We run a discovery session to define what needs designing, in what order, and to what depth.

Adding screens or flows mid-project

You can add scope at any point. We'll assess the impact on timeline and cost and give you a written change estimate. Nothing gets designed without your approval.

How many revisions are included

Revisions are typically included within the agreed phase until sign-off. We don't nickel-and-dime small adjustments - and we don't let projects loop endlessly either.

Changing design direction

We show work frequently so direction changes land early. Major shifts after high-fidelity work has begun affect timeline and cost - and we'll always tell you before proceeding.

Prioritising what gets designed first

Must-haves before nice-to-haves. Core flows and primary screens come first so developers get buildable screens early. Edge cases and system expansion follow.

Working with what you already have

Brand guidelines, existing design systems, partially designed products, or an in-house team - we design within them, extend them, audit them, or work alongside them.

Tools & technology

Designed for implementation, not for the deck.

If your product is built on Next.js, TypeScript, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS, our component structure and tokens align with those systems. For WordPress or Shopify, we design within the constraints and strengths of those platforms.

  • Figma - Primary design and prototyping, with structured components and auto-layout
  • FigJam / Miro - Workshops, journey mapping, and collaborative sessions
  • Moderated and unmoderated usability testing
  • Microsoft Clarity - Behavioural analytics and session recordings
  • Design system documentation

Quality standards

Checked, not assumed.

  • Consistency - Every screen checked against the design system
  • Completeness - Empty, loading, error, success, and edge cases designed
  • Responsiveness - Desktop, tablet, and mobile designed together
  • Accessibility - WCAG 2.1 AA where required, checked rather than assumed
  • Content realism - Designs tested with realistic content lengths, not lorem ipsum
  • Documentation - Every component and pattern documented for developers

FAQ

Practical answers before you start.

Still unsure? Ask us directly.

Scope & discovery

What if we only have an idea, not a design brief?

That's normal. We run a discovery session to define what needs designing, in what order, and to what depth - then we design against that plan.

Can we add screens or flows mid-project?

Yes. We'll assess the impact on timeline and cost, give you a written change estimate, and wait for your approval before designing the addition.

How do you decide what to design first?

We separate must-haves from nice-to-haves. Core flows and primary screens come first so developers get buildable screens as early as possible.

Revisions & direction

How many revisions are included?

Design revisions are typically included within the agreed phase until sign-off. We are reasonable about small adjustments, and we also prevent endless revision loops that kill timelines.

What if we want to change design direction?

Catching that early is why we show work frequently. Major direction changes after high-fidelity design has begun will affect timeline and cost - we'll tell you before proceeding, never after.

Ownership & collaboration

Who owns the design files?

You own all design files and assets upon full payment, including complete Figma files with edit access, exported assets, and documentation. Pre-existing LasMind library components stay ours, licensed to you for your product.

Can you work with our in-house design team?

Yes. We handle overflow, specialist work, or research and testing they don't have capacity for - alongside your team, not instead of them.

Do you design for our tech stack?

Yes. If you build on Next.js, TypeScript, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS, our component structure and tokens align with those systems. For WordPress or Shopify, we design within the strengths and constraints of those platforms.

Ready to design something that works?

Tell us about the product, the users, and the deadline. We'll come back with a clear design estimate - no recycled template pitch.
