Website & app development services

Website & Application Development

Most agencies cut corners to win your business: trimming scope, skipping testing, and quietly reducing effort to hit a number. We don't. LasMind builds your product quickly, ships it functional for your business, and backs it with quality code and real testing.

Our approach

We don't discount the work. We accelerate it.

To win a competitive deal, many agencies quietly reduce effort. Fewer developer hours. Less testing. Recycled templates passed off as custom work. Junior resources on senior-priced projects. Then delivery slips, bugs surface, and you're the one paying for it.

We take the opposite approach.

We win work by being genuinely fast and genuinely thorough, not by promising more than we deliver. Our speed comes from discipline, reusable architecture, and experienced developers who don't need to be managed into productivity. It does not come from cutting quality.

A red cube racing along a straight track past a checklist whose ticks light up one by one, and a speed gauge: fast delivery with every check done

What that means for you

  • No scope dilution.

What we scope is what we build. We don't shave features to make a number work. We tell you the honest cost up front.

  • No testing shortcuts.

Testing isn't a final checkbox. It runs throughout the build.

  • No time-wasting cycles.

We don't drag projects out to bill more hours. We build fast, get you functional, and move on.

  • No handoff abandonment.

You get documentation, access, and real support after launch.

Our build process

Fast because the process removes friction.

Every phase has a defined output, so nothing stalls waiting for clarity.

A road with six flag posts lighting up in order, from discovery at the start to support at the end, finishing at a launch pad with a red cube
  1. 01

    Discovery & Scoping

    2-5 days

We ask the hard questions first: What problem does this solve? Who uses it? What does success look like in numbers? What are the must-haves versus nice-to-haves? What integrations are non-negotiable?

You get: A written scope, feature list, technical approach, timeline, and fixed estimate. No vague "it depends."

  2. 02

    Architecture & Design

    1-3 weeks depending on complexity

We design the data model, system architecture, and user experience before writing production code. This is where speed is actually earned. Good architecture prevents the rework that slows most projects down.

You get: Wireframes or prototypes, database schema, architecture diagram, and design system.

  3. 03

    Development

    2-8+ weeks depending on scope

Work happens in short sprints with frequent, working builds. You see progress weekly, not a black box that opens three months later.

You get: Access to a staging environment, weekly demos, and a running build you can click through.

  4. 04

    Testing & QA

Runs in parallel with development, not after it

Testing isn't a phase we squeeze in at the end. Automated tests are written as code is written. Manual and exploratory testing runs continuously. Security and performance testing happen before launch, not after a problem occurs.

You get: Test reports, bug tracking visibility, performance benchmarks, and a release-ready build.

  5. 05

    Deployment & Launch

    2-5 days

We handle environment setup, data migration, DNS, SSL, app store submission, monitoring, and rollback planning.

You get: A live product, deployment documentation, and access credentials.

  6. 06

    Support & Iteration

    Ongoing

Post-launch, we monitor, fix, and improve. Most of our clients continue with us long after launch because the working relationship was built on delivery, not on a pitch.

What makes our team unique

Fast, honest, and built properly.

Every build is peer-reviewed and tested at each step, from unit tests to user acceptance, before it ships.

Code blocks riding a conveyor through a scanner gate that lights up, then on to a shield with a check mark and a red cube: code review and testing built in
  1. 01

We don't compromise effort to win the deal

Many agencies lower their price to win, then quietly lower their effort to protect margin. Fewer hours, thinner testing, junior substitutions, template reuse.

We price honestly and deliver fully. If a project needs 500 hours, we say 500 hours. We don't say 300 to look competitive and then deliver 300 hours' worth of work.

  2. 02

We are fast and we don't waste your time

Speed matters because your business needs to be functional, not because we want to look impressive. We:

    • Start work quickly after agreement
    • Run parallel tracks where possible
    • Avoid unnecessary meetings and approval loops
    • Ship working builds early so you can validate direction
    • Escalate blockers immediately instead of letting them sit

We don't pad timelines. If something can be done in three weeks, we don't quote eight to look busy.

  3. 03

    We get you functional quickly

You don't need a perfect product in six months. You need a working product that serves customers and generates revenue as soon as realistically possible.

We prioritize the core path, the features that make the product functional, and deliver those first. Everything else follows in structured iterations.

  4. 04

    Quality code is non-negotiable

Fast does not mean sloppy. Our code:

    • Follows consistent standards and conventions
    • Is reviewed by a second developer before merge
    • Is documented so any developer can pick it up
    • Is modular and testable
    • Avoids shortcuts that create technical debt

We've inherited enough broken codebases from "cheap and fast" agencies to know exactly what that shortcut costs you later.

  5. 05

Testing is built in, not bolted on

    Every build includes:

    • Unit testing of core logic
    • Integration testing across modules and APIs
    • Functional testing against requirements
    • Cross-browser and cross-device testing
    • Performance testing under expected load
    • Security testing for common vulnerabilities
    • Regression testing before every release
    • User acceptance testing with your team

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We've answered every one of these below. If yours isn't here, ask us directly. We'd rather answer now than have you wonder later.

Pricing & payment

How do you price a project?

We give you a fixed estimate after discovery. Not a vague range that doubles later.

Why are you more expensive than some agencies?

Because we're not reducing effort. A cheaper quote usually means fewer hours, less testing, or junior developers. You'll pay for that difference later in bugs, rework, or a rebuild. If budget is the only constraint, tell us. We'll scope a smaller version properly rather than pretend the full version is affordable.

What are your payment terms?

Typically milestone-based: 30% to start, then payments tied to defined delivery milestones, with a final payment on completion. For larger projects we can align to monthly cycles. We don't ask for full payment upfront.

Do you charge for estimates or discovery?

Initial consultation and rough estimate are free. Detailed discovery and technical scoping may be chargeable for complex projects, and if you proceed, we credit it against the project cost.

Can we get a fixed-price contract?

Yes, for well-defined scopes. If requirements are still evolving, we'll recommend a time-and-materials or sprint-based model and explain why.

What happens if the project takes longer than estimated?

If the delay is our fault, we absorb the cost. If it's due to scope changes you request, we'll quote the additional work before doing it. No surprise invoices.

Do you offer any trial or proof of concept?

Yes. For larger projects we can build a limited POC or pilot module first, so you can evaluate our work before committing to the full build.

Can you deliver faster if we need it urgently?

Often, yes, with a defined fast-track approach. We'll tell you honestly what can be compressed and what can't. We don't promise impossible dates to win work.

Scope, changes & requirements

Can we start without detailed requirements?

Most clients come to us with a business problem, not a spec sheet, and that's completely normal. We run a discovery session to help you define the requirements, separating what's genuinely needed from what sounds good on paper.

Can we add features mid-project?

You can add features at any point. We'll assess the impact on timeline and cost and give you a written change estimate. You then decide whether to add it now or in a later phase. Nothing gets built without your approval.

How do revisions and adjustments work?

Design revisions are typically included within the agreed phase until sign-off. Development changes are handled through the change request process. We're reasonable about this. We don't nickel-and-dime small adjustments.

What if we change design direction?

It's always better to catch a change of direction early, which is why we show you designs and working builds frequently rather than disappearing for weeks. Major direction changes after development has begun will affect timeline and cost, and we'll always tell you before proceeding, never after.

How do you prioritize features?

We help you separate must-haves from nice-to-haves and build in that order, so your product becomes functional as early as possible. The features that generate revenue and serve customers come first; the rest follow in structured iterations.

Can you work with designs, code or a team we already have?

Yes. If you already have designs, we'll build from them: your Figma files, design system, or brand guidelines. If you already have code or an in-house team, we'll fit in. We regularly join existing projects, audit the codebase, integrate with in-house teams, and take over development without disrupting what's working.

Technology & quality

Which technologies do you use?

We choose technology based on your needs, not our comfort. Frontend: Next.js, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS. Backend: Node.js. Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB. Cloud: AWS, Vercel. DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI. CMS & e-commerce: WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify.

What is the code quality like?

The code you receive is peer-reviewed, follows agreed standards, is documented, and is structured to be handed over cleanly. We've cleaned up too many projects from agencies that didn't do this to repeat the mistake ourselves.

How do you test?

Unit, integration, functional, and regression tests are standard on every project. Automated tests run in CI on every commit, so problems surface immediately rather than at launch.

How do you handle security?

We follow secure coding practices, validate inputs, manage secrets properly, use HTTPS everywhere, apply dependency scanning, and conduct security testing before launch. For regulated industries, we align with the relevant standards and compliance frameworks.

How do you make sure it performs well?

We set performance budgets, optimize queries and assets, use caching and CDNs, and load-test before launch. You receive the benchmark results, not just an assurance that it's fast.

Will it scale as we grow?

Architecture is designed with your growth path in mind. During discovery we ask about expected user volume, data growth, and geographic reach so that scaling doesn't require a rebuild later.

Do you cover devices, browsers and accessibility?

We test across major browsers, screen sizes, and OS versions, including real devices for mobile apps. Where required, we build to WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines, including semantic markup, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility.

Is SEO included?

Technical SEO is built in as standard: clean URLs, semantic HTML, meta tags, sitemaps, structured data, fast load times, and mobile responsiveness. Content SEO strategy is available as a separate service if you need it.

Legal, ownership & confidentiality

Who owns the code?

You own the code and intellectual property upon full payment. You receive complete source code, repository access, and documentation. We retain rights to our pre-existing tools and libraries, which are licensed to you for use in your project.

Do we get access during the project?

You have access to the code repository from the start, not just at handover. There's no hostage situation at the end of a project.

Will you sign an NDA?

We sign NDAs gladly. Send us yours or use ours.

How do you handle third-party components?

We document all third-party components and their licenses. We avoid dependencies with restrictive licensing unless you explicitly approve them.

Do you comply with data protection laws?

We comply with applicable data protection laws, including India's DPDP Act and GDPR where relevant, along with other applicable regulations. We implement appropriate consent mechanisms, data handling practices, and security measures.

Can you sign our contracts?

We can usually sign your MSA or vendor agreement. We'll review it and flag any clauses that conflict with our delivery model before signing, so there are no misunderstandings later.

Communication

Who will we talk to?

A lead developer or project lead, someone who actually knows the code. Not a salesperson relaying messages back and forth.

How often will we get updates?

Weekly written updates plus a demo call. For urgent matters, you have direct access to the project lead.

Do you work across time zones?

We're India-based and overlap comfortably with India, Dubai, Europe, Australia, Canada and, with adjusted hours, North America.

Which communication tools do you use?

We use whatever you already use: email, Zoom, Google Meet.

What do you need from us to move fast?

A decision-maker available for quick approvals, timely feedback on builds, access to necessary systems and credentials, and clear priorities. That's it. We handle the rest.

What if we're not technical?

That's perfectly fine. We explain things in plain language and don't hide behind jargon. Most of our clients are business leaders, not engineers.

What documentation do we receive?

You receive technical documentation, deployment guides, and handover documentation, plus a walkthrough session so your team understands what was built and how it works.

Can we take development in-house later?

We support that fully. We'll do a structured handover, document everything, and make introductions to your team. There's no lock-in and no attempt to make ourselves indispensable.

Launch, support & maintenance

Who handles deployment and hosting?

We handle deployment. We can deploy to your existing infrastructure or set up and manage hosting for you, and we'll recommend the most cost-effective option for your scale rather than the most profitable one for us.

What happens after launch?

We provide a warranty period for bug fixes, followed by optional ongoing support and maintenance plans covering monitoring, updates, security patches, and enhancements.

How much does maintenance cost?

Typically 15-20% of the original project cost annually, depending on complexity and response-time requirements. We'll give you a specific number rather than a range.

What if something breaks?

Defects covered by the warranty are fixed at no cost. For anything outside warranty, we respond according to your support agreement, and critical issues are prioritized immediately.

Can you keep improving the product after launch?

Most clients continue with us for iteration: new features, performance improvements, and scaling work. The relationship doesn't end at delivery.

What is your commitment after delivery?

We don't disappear. Our business depends on repeat clients and referrals, and abandoning clients after launch would end that quickly.

Working with us

Can you handle multiple concurrent projects?

Yes, with dedicated teams per project so nothing gets starved of attention.

Which industries do you serve?

E-commerce, finance, healthcare, real estate, logistics, manufacturing, energy, professional services, consumer services, media, and SaaS, among others.

Can we see your work?

We'll share relevant case studies, live products, and references you can contact. If you want to speak with an existing client whose project resembles yours, we'll arrange it on request.

Our biggest strength

We deliver fast without cutting corners, and clients stay because of it.

Ready to build?

Tell us what you're trying to build. We'll tell you honestly what it takes: timeline, cost, and approach, with no inflated promises and no quiet reductions in effort. We build fast. We build properly. We build it to work for your business.
